Disclosed are a method and a device for correcting chroma. The device for collecting the chroma is characterized by including a color determining unit determining colors of pixels which are included in inputted images and a chroma correcting unit correcting the chroma by reducing one or more chroma values among an R chroma value, a G chroma value, and a B chroma value of the pixels with a result of the color determination and R, G, and B chroma boundary values predetermined by the color. In accordance with the present invention, the device for correcting chroma can solve problems of a saturation phenomenon and a contour phenomenon generated when the chroma is corrected.
