<p>Disclosed is a remote device expansion system, which comprises an authentication server, a local client expander, and a remote system client. A local client connects to the remote system client sequentially via the local client expander and the authentication server. The authentication server is for use in establishing a dedicated data link between the remote system client and a selected local client expander. The local client expander transmits via the data link local port hardware information of the local device connected thereto to the remote system client. The remote system client establishes in a remote system on the basis of the local port hardware information transmitted from the local client expander a new piece of local device hardware information for the remote system to operate the local device when a corresponding driver is installed. Application of the present invention allows for increased security in mapping of a device having a communication interface in a local environment to the remote system, expands remote system device, and implements remote system operation by user and local data read/write.</p> |
