Embodiments of the present invention provide an information processing method, forwarding plane apparatus and control plane apparatus. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a data message and extracting the feature information of said data message; searching the context information corresponding to the feature information of said data message; buffering or abandoning said data message if the context information has not been found; and transmitting an event report message which carries the feature information of said data message to a gateway control plane apparatus, in order that the gateway control plane apparatus can obtain the context information corresponding to the feature information of said data message. Therefore, a gateway forwarding plane apparatus can obtain the context information as far as possible in the situation that the context information is lost, thus correct forwarding of the data message can be insured as far as possible.
