Provided are a control device of an auxiliary-powered movement device capable of performing control easily and increasing the time ratio of a regenerative state, and an auxiliary-powered movement device comprising said control device. The control device (20) comprises a speed sensor (26) for detecting the speed of an auxiliary-powered bicycle, an acceleration sensor (27) for detecting acceleration, and a regeneration control circuit for switching a motor (42) and battery (44) of the auxiliary-powered bicycle to either an assist state or a regenerative state on the basis of the speed detected by the speed sensor (26) and the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor (27). A controller (22) of the regeneration control circuit stores regeneration determinative values of the acceleration of the auxiliary-powered bicycle in advance in accordance with the speed of the auxiliary-powered bicycle, and switches the motor (42) and the battery (44) to the regenerative state when the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor (27) at a certain speed is equal to or greater than the regeneration determinative value.
