The method involves combining individual products (2) to a product formation (1). The products are fixed against each other by a shrinkable film (3), where the film is equipped with contactless activatable perforation regions (4.1, 4.2). The film is provided with a perforation coating that is designed in an absorbing manner with respect to a power supply e.g. UV-radiation source, where the power supply operates with electromagnetic radiation and/or inductively and/or capacitively. The perforation coating is designed as a pressure coating and arranged on a film upper side. An independent claim is also included for a packaging unit.
