<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for air-conditioning a room into a comfortable condition while increasing its air conditioning capability. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises air inlets 3, 16 and an air outlet 15 formed in the upper and lower parts of an indoor unit 10 and a blower 6 arranged in the indoor unit 10 for sucking room air from the air inlets 3, 16 and blowing it from the air outlet 15. The indoor unit 10 has a member 11 for covering the lower air inlet 3 as part of the air inlets at stopping air conditioning operation and guiding the wind direction of air blown from the air outlet 15 during air conditioning operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
