The container unit for transport and storage of flowable materials, with a pallet type substructure and adjoining protective grid made of an electrically conductive material incorporates a container which is produced by a blow-forming process and includes at least one layer of a plastic material with intrinsic electricity conduction properties. An independent claim is also included for a container incorporated by the proposed container unit.
