<p>PURPOSE: An energy saving shaft kiln for producing a glass bead is provided to collect exhaust heat and residue using a plate-type heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: An energy saving shaft kiln for producing a glass bead comprises a double layer of a shaft kiln(01) main body and an amplifying chamber(03). The shaft kiln collects heat using a gap between the layers as a duct. The heat is used for combustion and as secondary air. The shaft kiln cools the wall body for preventing cullet adhesion or incomplete firing.
