<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a connecting connector to an optical coupling connector, even if excessive-length portion of an optical fiber cable (hereinafter, to be referred to as cable) is eliminated, and to prevent the cable from projecting from a substrate, while securing predetermined curvature of the cable even if the cable is not given high precision, regarding its length. <P>SOLUTION: An optical module and a cable connecting device fitted with the optical coupling connector, to which the connecting connector of the cable is connected are mounted on a substrate. The cable coupling device comprises a plate-type fixed member having a terminal soldered to the substrate; a slide member which has a wall part having a fitting hole where the optical coupling connector is fitted and a slide member having a slide hole formed of a long hole in a direction apart from the wall part; and a fixing screw for fixing the slide member onto the fixed member, the slide member rotating or sliding the fixed member via the fixing screw, while being temporarily fixed to the fixed member via the fixing screw, when the connecting connector and optical coupling connector are connected together. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
