#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has a centrifugal pump (2) to discharge fire extinguishing liquid, and associated with a driving motor (3). Safety units increase supply pressure in an inlet of the pump when the pressure falls below a preset minimal safety threshold. The safety units are activated when the pressure attains the threshold in order to cause deactivation of a control unit (4) and decrease rate of the motor till the pressure rises to a level of a threshold value higher than that of the safety threshold. The safety units comprise a pressure switch (15) to determine the pressure. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Mobile device e.g. fire truck or fire pump, for fighting against fire. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The safety units reduce the flattening problems of flexible supply tubes in the mobile device when the tubes supply pressurized water to the fire pump, thus avoiding the risks of rapid degradation of inner and outer walls of the tubes. The configuration of the device permits to manage the problem of reduction in the supply pressure under certain threshold value, in a simple and effective manner, thus avoiding the damage of the tubes or danger to firefighters.
