The present invention relates to a cathode active material for a lithium iron phosphate-based lithium secondary battery having excellent electroconductivity and having an IR drop in charge and discharge reduced, a manufacturing method thereof and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprises a predetermined quantity of lithium iron phosphate particles; graphene or a derivative thereof formed on part of the lithium iron phosphate particles; and an anionic ion-conductive improver absorbed on the graphene or the derivative thereof.
