This lighting apparatus is provided with a lamp fitting, a heat dissipating section, an electric wire inserting hole, and an electric wire cover. The lamp fitting has a first surface and a second surface, which are positioned on the opposite sides in the thickness direction, and the first surface is provided with a light source region for disposing a light source. The heat dissipating section is disposed on the second surface of the lamp fitting. The electric wire inserting hole is configured so as to penetrate the lamp fitting from the first surface to the second surface to pass through the electric wire that is electrically connected to the light source. The electric wire cover faces the second surface so as to cover the electric wire inserting hole. The electric wire cover and the electric wire inserting hole are disposed at positions not overlapping the light source region in the thickness direction of the lamp fitting. |
