The vehicle (1) has a protection device (9) with a partition (10) mounted slidably and pivotably relative to a rail (11) among raised, lowered and retracted positions. The partition extends transversely near an upper edge of a backrest (6) of a rear bench seat (5) in the raised position, and extends transversely near a lower edge of the backrest in the lowered position. The partition is tilted relative to the lowered position and extended flatly relative to a floor (4) of a rear boot (3), in extension of a rear face (8) of the folded backrest in the retracted position. The protection device avoids intrusion of objects such as luggage, from the boot into a passenger compartment of the vehicle. |
