The device has a cuff (6) sealingly connected to a cuff sleeve (10). A glove (14) is made of flexible material and sealingly connected to a glove sleeve (12). The glove sleeve externally comprises a male thread. The cuff sleeve internally comprises a female thread, and the male thread of the glove sleeve is screwed into the female thread of the cuff sleeve. The cuff sleeve and the glove sleeve form a wrist round. A static sealing is formed by a flap type lip seal (22) that is provided on the cuff sleeve toward an interior of the cuff sleeve. An independent claim is also included for a method for replacing a worn glove by a new glove.
