PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge a medium to be printed smoothly and surely, after cutting the medium with a rotary cutter.SOLUTION: A rotary cutter device 610 provided in a label generating device 500 includes: a first rotating body 620 rotatably supported to a case 612; a holder 630; a drive transmission mechanism 639 and motor 638 for rotary drive of the first rotating body 620 so that a first flat blade 621 may cut a label tape 3A from an upper side toward a lower side; a tray 902 for guiding the label tape 3A that is cut and descended, while being placed thereon, to the downstream side in the carrying direction by cooperation with the first flat blade 621; a second rotating body 900 with a plurality of vanes 901 contactable with the label tape 3A guided to the downstream side in the carrying direction by the tray 902; and the drive transmission mechanism 639 and motor 638 for rotary drive of the second rotating body 900 so that the vanes 901 may send off the label tape 3A further to the downstream side in the carrying direction. |
