PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device in which a foreign substance in a liquid crystal material can be captured upon injecting the liquid crystal material and the captured foreign substance is hardly released, and to provide electronic equipment having the liquid crystal device.SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal device 1, a liquid crystal injection port 107a composed of a cut portion of a sealing material 107 is provided with a projection 15, which protrudes from at least one of an inner surface of a first substrate 10 and an inner surface of a second substrate 20 and which reduces a gap between the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20 than a gap in an image display region 1a. The projection 15 includes a plurality of first projection portions 151 arranged in a longitudinal direction of the liquid crystal injection port 107a, and a second projection portion 152 extending, inside the plurality of first projections 151 with respect to the extending direction of the first projections, in a direction intersecting the extending direction of the first projections 151. |
