PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a user terminal apparatus which, when a specific place is set as a destination using a navigation function, notifies thereof a user related to the place set as the destination; a server; and a controlling method thereof.SOLUTION: A user terminal apparatus is provided. The user terminal apparatus includes a display, a user interface configured to receive a user command to set a specific place as a destination, and a controller for control to, when the user command is input, execute a route guidance function for reaching the set destination and transmit a notification message regarding the setting of the destination to a user related to the destination.
