PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic refrigeration device with high efficiency by arranging a rod-shape or plate-shape magnetic operation substance housed in a duct of the magnetic refrigeration device such that a demagnetization field and an eddy current are suppressed.SOLUTION: In a magnetic refrigeration device having a duct assembly (21) constituted by assembling ducts (1) in which magnetic operation substances are housed and arranged in a fixed state, a magnetic circuit pair (30) arranged so as to sandwich the duct assembly (21), generating a magnetic field space, and rotatably arranged, and rotary valves (51 to 54) connected to the ducts (1), and carrying out magnetic refrigeration base on a magneto-caloric effect by an action of a magnetic field in the magnetic field to the duct assembly (21) accompanied by an action of the rotary valves (51 to 54), a demagnetization and an eddy currents are suppressed by housing rod-shape magnetic operation substances (101) in the ducts (1) and arranging a longitudinal direction of the rod-shape magnetic operation substances (101) so as to match the same to a direction of the magnetic field (102). |
