PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required from when supply of a power supply voltage to a charge pump circuit is resumed to when an input signal is boosted by reducing discharge of electric charge from a capacitative element when the supply of the power supply voltage to the charge pump circuit is stopped or resumed.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device comprises: a booster circuit section which includes a charge transfer element and a capacitative element and outputs an output signal in which a voltage level of an input signal is boosted; a detection circuit which monitors a voltage level of the output signal; and a control circuit which controls a signal which controls boosting of the voltage level of the input signal according to the voltage level obtained by the detection circuit to a boosting section. The booster circuit section comprises a switch electrically connected to the capacitative element and the charge transfer element. |
