PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detection device for a vehicle of which collision detection accuracy is improved by sufficiently generating an output of pressure detection by a pressure sensor.SOLUTION: A collision detection device for a vehicle 1 includes: a bumper absorber 2 arranged on a vehicle front side of a bumper reinforcement 9 in a bumper 7 of a vehicle; a tube member for detection 3 which has a hollow part 3a formed inside and mounted on a groove part 2a formed along a vehicle width direction in a position opposite to the bumper reinforcement 9 in the bumper absorber 2; a pressure sensor which detects a pressure in the hollow part 3a of the tube member for detection 3; and collision detection means which detects a collision of an object with the bumper 7 based on a pressure detection result by the pressure sensor. The bumper absorber 2 includes a projected part 20 projecting to a vehicle upper side than an upper end surface 9c of the bumper reinforcement 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
