A continuous bubble melting furnace for the preparation of homogenized melts of silicate-containing materials has a body divided with partition to compartments, those are arranged in sequence and hydraulically connected through a slot-like bottom opening in the partition. The first compartment is cooled and is connected to smoke duct and is equipped with loading window and at least one bottom immersed gas burner, it acts as the melting bath. The second compartment is intended for melt homogenizing, lined with refractory material, equipped with at least one additional gas burner, connected to the smoke duct and has an outlet opening with the overflow edge lifted over the bottom of the second compartment. For leveling temperature field in melt that is discharged the second compartment has intermediate retaining wall the upper edge of which is higher than the upper edge of the bottom opening in the partition, this divides the compartment to comparatively short still prechamber and comparatively long chamber of homogenizing. At that those first compartment, bottom opening and prechamber have common practically horizontal bottom, and the bottom of the homogenizing chamber is lifted above the level of the common bottom. |
