METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING DEGREE OF ENDOTHELIAL DYSFUNCTION IN CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

The method for diagnosing the degree of the endothelial dysfunction in cardiovascular diseases comprises Dopplerography of the right brachial artery. The diameter of the artery is measured. Zelemeyer-Sorense test with compression is used for the assessment of endothelium-dependent vasodilatation. The increase of this parameter from 5.0 % to 9.9 % is indicative of the initial endothelial dysfunction (degree I). The lesser increase from 0 to 4.9 % is indicative of the moderate endothelial dysfunction (degree II). The progressive decrease in endothelium-dependent vasodilatation is indicative of the severe endothelial dysfunction (degree III).
