<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow precision time synchronization of precision ≤1 μsec without relying on the GPS, and to facilitate prevalence of a compact base station in a room, underground shopping arcade or the like where it is difficult to use the GPS. <P>SOLUTION: In this optical multiplexing transmission system wherein a master station device (OLT 10) and one or more slave station devices (ONU 20a-20c) execute bidirectional communication, the master station device includes a time synchronizing timing generation means to distribute a transmission control signal (synchronization packet) for providing synchronizing timing by annunciating a transmission delay time required for transmission to the slave station device; and the slave station device includes a time calibration means to calibrate time information of itself by correcting precise time information annunciated from the master base station by the delay time upon the reception of the transmission control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
