Disclosed herein is a retroreflector configured for mounting onto the spokes of a spoked wheel, comprising a body including fixing portions and a reflective surface extending over a major portion of the surface of the body, the body having an elongate shape and being configured so that it is mounted onto a spoke in the direction of its length l, its height h essentially being arranged orthogonal to the surface defined by a rotating spoke. The reflective surface has several reflecting surface portions, including two major opposite portions configured so that they are essentially orthogonal to the direction of rotation of the wheel and transverse to the direction of travel of the vehicle, their reflection being directed principally towards the front and the rear of the vehicle. |
