The lancet has a shaft comprising an upper side and a lower side (1b), where the shaft forms a cutter (1a) at a point. The cutter has two cutting edges (4) at the lower side, where the cutting edges run together at the point. The shaft has a depression on the lower side for receiving a sample. The shaft merges into the cutter at two edges (5) that run together at a vertex and run parallel to the cutting edges, where the upper side of the shaft is curved convexly between the vertex and the point when seen in a cross section. An independent claim is also included for a pricking system comprising a lancet. |
