WINDOW CLEANING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME

A device for cleaning a window according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a first cleaning unit and a second cleaning unit which are faced with each other. Either the first cleaning unit or the second cleaning unit is in contact with the window. The device for cleaning the window comprises a slip detection unit which detects the vertical direction of a slip while the first cleaning unit or the second cleaning unit is being driven; a wheel member for the driving; a driving unit which drives the wheel member; and a control unit which controls the driving unit based on the slip of the slip detection unit. A method for controlling the device for cleaning the window according to another aspect of the present invention comprises a step for driving the device for cleaning the window along a predetermined path; a step for determining whether or not the slip is detected in a slip sensor while the device for cleaning the window is being driven; and a step for adjusting the posture of the device for cleaning the window when the slip is detected.
