A method and a device for increasing light intensity applicability relate to the field of photoelectric communication. The method comprises: the device collecting a voltage value, several levels of load resistors being provided in the device, when a preset number of voltage values meeting a requirement are collected, calculating the average of all the collected voltage values, setting a voltage according to the average, and determining whether the set voltage meets a preset requirement, if yes, collecting data according to the set voltage, and otherwise, switching a load resistor according to a preset rule, where the load voltage influences the collection of voltage. The beneficial effects of the method and device lie in that: the light intensity applicability during screen collection of light signals is enhanced, and at the same time the bit error rate is further reduced. |
