The purpose of the invention is, in a method for manufacturing a curved touch panel by making a plane film having an electrically conductive electrode have a curved surface, to obtain a product that provides the electrical connection of the electrode in a single electrode surface area and that achieves the functions of a touch panel. Specifically, provided is a method for manufacturing a touch panel (1) having a curved touch surface by deforming a film having an electrically conductive electrode and by integrating the film with a shape forming member, the touch panel being formed of the shape forming member and the film having the electrically conductive electrode, in which an electrically conductive electrode surface area (13) constituting the touch surface (2) is formed on a film base member. In the film having the electrically conductive electrode, a discontinuous surface (20a) for controlling a breakage is provided for the electrically conductive electrode surface area such that, when the film having the electrically conductive electrode is deformed, the breakage is generated partially in a deformed part (3a) of the electrically conductive electrode surface area and an electrical connection is maintained between two points (50a, 50b) sandwiching the deformed part in the electrically conductive electrode surface area. |
