PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a use of a projector until an exchange of light sources has been completed, in the projector set to exchange the light sources when a power source is off.SOLUTION: A projector includes: image projection means that modulates light emitted from a light source according to image information and projects the light onto a projection surface; and notification means that, if a light source exchange waiting flag is set indicating a light source exchange waiting state, notifies a user of being the light source exchange waiting state. When power source of a projector is in on operation (step S101), if a light source exchange waiting flag is set (step S108: Y), the light source exchange waiting state is notified by the notification means (step S109: third notification). |
