PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interlayer peeling in a high-temperature superconducting wire of a high-temperature superconducting coil to obtain stable superconducting characteristics, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In a coated high-temperature superconducting wire 1 formed by coating an yttrium-based superconducting wire 2 (high-temperature superconducting wire) having a rectangular cross section with an insulating layer 6, the insulating layer 6 is an electrodeposited coat made of a block copolymer polyimide containing a siloxane bond in a polyimide main chain and having an anionic group in the molecule. When a coil formed of the yttrium-based superconducting wire 2 is impregnated with an epoxy resin to be cured, the coil is configured such that the epoxy resin is completely separated from the yttrium-based superconducting wire 2 by the insulating layer 6.
