PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care external composition capable of achieving high transdermal absorption, and having high safety as a preparation and excellent feeling of use, even in the case of a water-soluble compound having a whitening effect, whose chemical structure has a three-dimensionally bulky branched structure.SOLUTION: In a skin care external composition containing (1) a cysteic acid derivative and (2) an alkylene glycol alginate, the alkylene glycol alginate is preferably propylene glycol alginate, and further preferably includes isostearic acid and 2-ethylhexyl isononanoate. |
