In stacked optical films, provided are an optical film activation processing method and an optical film manufacturing method capable of improving adhesiveness and preventing generation of an external detect. In a method for returning an optical film along a roll and performing activation processing for the optical film from an opposite side of the roll, the activation processing is performed while cooling down the roll. It is desirable that the activation processing is at least one kind of corona discharging processing, plasma processing, and glow discharging processing and the optical film is at least one kind of a polarizer and a transparent protective film. |
