A pair of conveyors 3,4 have a pusher device 10 which transfers articles 7 between the conveyors 3,4. The pusher device 10 features a cam arrangement with a wheel that travels under a track 33, and up through a spring loaded ramp 24 on the outstroke. On the return stroke the wheel returns across the top of the ramp 24 and the track 33. In this way the motion of pusher 10 is controlled so that it is raised and disengaged from articles during the return stroke. |
