PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash mounting member and a sash unit for settling the sash fine, which also can inhibit intrusion of rainwater etc. SOLUTION: This sash mounting member for attaching the sash provided in an opening for communicating indoor and outdoor sides includes: an exterior-wall-side piece interposed between an exterior-wall component member, which is provided on the outdoor side of a building frame with the opening for forming an exterior wall, and the building frame; a body portion connected to the exterior-wall-side piece, arranged adjacently to the exterior-wall component member and protruded to the outdoor side from the exterior-wall component member; and a sash-fixing portion protruded from the body portion on the other side of the exterior-wall-side piece, so as to fix the sash.
