<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device and a refrigerator enhancing sealing performance when closing an opening/closing body for opening/closing an opening. <P>SOLUTION: An extension lock part 75e extended to the radial outer side relative to a tooth tip of a gear segment 75b arranged in an output gear 75 is provided, and an extension circular arc face 75g having a circular arc shape is provided on circumferential both sides of the extension lock part 75e. A columnar part 73c continued to tooth tips 73t1, 73t4 on circumferential both sides of a gear segment 73b is provided in an idler gear 73. When the opening/closing body 64 is closed, after engagement between the gear segment 73b of the idler gear 73 and the gear segment 75b of the output gear 75 is completed, the columnar part 73c of the idler gear 73 is made to abut on the extension circular arc face 75g of the extension lock part 75e.
