<p>The device (1) has an input terminal (3) that is connected to a terminal of an alternating voltage source (2), and another input terminal (4). An output terminal (10) is adapted to deliver a predetermined continuous voltage supply. A capacitive circuit (5) is arranged with a reference node (6). A circuit breaker (7) is connected between the reference node and the latter input terminal. Another capacitive circuit (9) is connected between the output terminal and the latter terminal. The circuit breaker has an impedance whose imaginary part is zero theoretically. An independent claim is also included for a power supply system.</p>
