PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disturbance of the posture of a recording material rushing into a fixing nip part in fixing an image formed on the recording material.SOLUTION: An endless pressure belt 520 is disposed in opposition to a heating roll 510 incorporating a heating source and a pressing member 70 for forming a fixing nip part N is attached inside the pressure belt 520 by pressing the pressure belt 520 to the heating roll 510. At an opposed surface 700 facing an inner peripheral surface of the pressure belt 520 of the pressing member 70, a first opposed surface 701, a second opposed surface 702, a third opposed surface 703 and a fourth opposed surface 704 are continuously formed from the upstream side in a conveying direction of paper. A pressing part is constituted by the fourth opposed surface 704 for constituting the nip part N and a projection in which the pressure belt 520 is protruded to the side of the heating roll 510 from a linear line T is constituted by the first opposed surface 701 and the second opposed surface 702. |
