PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a laser machine tool caused by conventional techniques for machining comparatively large, bulky and heavy workpieces.SOLUTION: A laser machine tool for machining a workpiece by laser ablation has a moveable laser head (4) for emitting laser beams. Advantageously, it is a laser machine tool with 5 axes. In the housing of the laser head (4), two or more laser sources (8) are incorporated and each laser source emits different kinds of laser beams. The two or more laser sources (8) incorporated in the laser head (4) cannot be operated simultaneously for machining the workpiece. |
