PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a display panel capable of controlling variation of characteristics of light emission in the display panel having organic EL element among lots.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a display panel in a lot manufacturing method includes: preparing a substrate 10 in a predetermined lot; forming a reflection anode layer 11 over the substrate 10; forming an organic layer having different emission luminescence depending on the film thickness over the reflection anode layer 11; forming a transparent negative electrode layer 17 over the organic layer; measuring the film thickness of each of the organic layer and the transparent negative electrode layer 17; setting the film thickness of an intermediate layer 18 formed over the transparent negative electrode layer 17 on the basis of the film thickness of the respective layers of the measured layers so that the brightness of the display panel manufactured in a predetermined lot and the brightness of the display panel manufactured in another lot are generally identical to each other; and forming the intermediate layer 18 with a set film thickness of the intermediate layer 18 over the transparent negative electrode layer 17.
