PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat heat exchange tube capable of preventing a brazing failure through simple machining.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 16 is provided inside both sidewalls 15 of a flat heat exchange tube 4. An extension part 19 extending to the other sidewall 15 is integrally provided, continued from both end parts in tube height direction of the sidewall 15. The sidewall 15 is flat and extends in tube height direction. Both extension parts 19 are flat and extend in tube width direction. Between the sidewall 15 and both extension parts 19, a lateral cross section arc-shaped connection part 21 is interposed. The reinforcement member 16 has an arc-shaped lateral cross section, having an intermediate part in tube height direction, protruding outward in tube width direction, and having a constant radius of curvature entirely. A radius of curvature of an inner surface of the connection part 21 is smaller than that of an outer surface of the reinforcement member 16. The outer surface of the reinforcement member 16 is brought into contact with one point on the inner surface of the sidewall 15 and on one point on the inner surface of each extension part 19, to braze the sidewall 15 and both extension parts 19 to the reinforcement member 16. |
