摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce shocks in clutch connection by inserting springs in a plurality of divisions divided equally circumferentially on outer plates between the outer plates to increase the total set load stepwise from low load between a plurality of the outer plates. CONSTITUTION:A clutch drum 21 spline fitted fixedly to an input shaft has in the inner periphery a plurality of outer plates 22 incorporated therein, and a plurality of inner plates 24 are incorporated in the outer periphery of a hub 23 fixedly spline fitted on an output shaft. These plates 22, 24 are alternately disposed to be pressed by a hydraulic piston 25 for establishing the clutch connecting condition. Then, a plurality of projections 22A are formed on divisions equally circumferentially divided in the outer periphery of the outer plate 22. Springs 26 guided by the guide pins 27 respectively are equally interposed in one half of the projections 22A and return springs of the hydraulic piston 25 are equally interposed in the remaining half of the projections 22A.</p>
