PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor with a smaller contact resistance in a contact plane between a separator and an electrode, a capacitor separator capable reducing contact resistance with electrode and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A capacitor has a pair of electrodes, a separator interposed between the electrodes, and electrolyte. The separator has a matrix structure of a nanofiber formed in an electric field spinning method, and has a sheet-like shape having a first surface and a second surface at the opposite side thereof. Compering the average of maximum fiber diameter in a plane direction of the nanofiber separator between the vicinity of the first surface and the vicinity of the second surface and in the central area in a thickness direction of the separator, the average Ds1 of the maximum fiber diameter of the nanofiber in the vicinity of the first surface and the average Ds2 of the maximum fiber diameter of the nanofiber in the vicinity of the second surface are smaller than the average Dc of the maximum fiber diameter of the nanofiber in the central area in the thickness direction of the separator. |
