The present invention relates to a grass mower comprising; a handle with a predetermined length; a driving part installed in an end domain of the handle; a rotary shaft constructed at a predetermined length; a cutting member installed on the rotary shaft; a support holder fastened to the rotary shaft in a lower part of the cutting member; a safety cover positioned in a lower domain of the cutting member and supported by the handle as a support member; a bearing prepared at the center of the safety cover; a bearing cover to protect the fastening bolts installed at the center of the bearing; multiple vent holes formed by penetrating the surface along a circumferential direction of the surface at a given gap with an arbor hole formed at the center of the safety cover; and a fan installed between the cutting member installed on the rotary shaft and the safety cover with the central domain supported in the upper domain of the bearing to generate strong air towards one side by rotating along with the rotary shaft. According to the said invention, there is an advantage for loads of the safety cover in contact with the ground are reduced to lower the weight of a grass mower by allowing levitation of the safety cover at a given height above the ground through the installment of a fan between the cutting member and the safety cover installed in a lower domain of the cutting member to protect the cutting member so as to facilitate the use; as well as preventing users accidents caused by rocks, etc which are lying on the ground by maintaining a constant gap between the safety gap and the ground. |
