A pouch type lithium secondary battery is provided to enhance self toughness against external force and to improve moldability by forming a metal layer constituting a pouch case to a lattice-type metal pattern layer. A pouch type lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly which includes a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, and a separator interposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate; a pouch case(120) consisting of an insulating layer(126), a metallic patter layer(127) which is formed on the insulating layer in a lattice type; and electrolyte accommodated in grooves. |
