The present invention relates to a device for cooling molds to refine tissues of casted outer members when the outer members of a work roll for metal rolling mills are casted by using a horizontal centrifugal casting machine. The device comprises: a coolant spraying unit having a wall arranged at both sides of the outer surface of a mold in which the outer members are casted, a coolant supply line supplying coolant into the wall, and spraying nozzles spraying the coolant supplied into the wall towards the mold; a valve mounted on the coolant spraying unit and controlling the coolant sprayed towards the mold; a temperature sensor measuring an outer temperature of the mold; and a control member operating the valve to be opened/closed by receiving a signal of the temperature sensor. |
