The invention relates to investigation of the properties of solid materials through application of static loads. A method for the determination of the characteristic of the uniform contraction of structural titanium alloy includes operations of stretching a standard smooth cylindrical sample along one axis at different temperatures within interval from 4 K to 293 k, with determination of basic mechanical characteristics at that, and characteristic of virtual destruction tension, plotting experimental dependence, calculation of the value of intensity of stresses after the sample destruction, additional plotting of experimental dependencefor structural titanium alloys with different degrees of plasticity, calculation on the basis of that one of the empirical coefficient, with determination of the characteristic of uniform contraction. The method makes it possible to determine the characteristic of uniform contractionof structural titanium alloys with different levels of plasticity within the range fromtoby the data of main mechanical characteristics,andonly more accurately and self-descriptively. |
