The present invention relates to a printed circuit board and a manufacturing method thereof. In order to realize a fine pattern, the printed circuit board includes: a base board; an internal circuit pattern which is formed in one or both sides of the base board; an insulating layer which covers the internal circuit pattern; an external circuit pattern which is formed on the insulating layer; and a via which passes through the insulating layer and connects the internal circuit pattern with the external circuit pattern. The adjacent part of the lower part of the via is coated with the insulating layer except a part which is connected with the internal circuit pattern.
