PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an interval of monitor wavelengths narrow without enlarging a device.SOLUTION: A wavelength monitor 10 has a light source 30, a filter 50, and a detector 60. The filter 50 has periodic permeability to a wavelength of light. Light emitted from the light source 30 and permeating through the filter 50 has strength according to the wavelength of the light. The detector 60 detects the light permeating through the filter 50 on plural light reception faces arranged at different positions. Thereby, the detector 60 can detect space distribution of the light permeating through the filter 50. The space distribution depends on the wavelength of the light, and indicates a characteristic different from the permeability of the filter 50. Accordingly, the plural light reception faces are appropriately arranged to detect the space distribution of the light, and therefore, an interval of monitor wavelengths can be made narrow without enlarging a device. |
