PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for epoxidating an olefin compound highly productively.SOLUTION: A method for producing an epoxy compound includes reacting a compound having a carbon-carbon double bond and hydrogen peroxide in the coexistence of (a) the compound having a carbon-carbon double bond, (b) the hydrogen peroxide, (c) a solid carrier powder, and (d) a solid catalyst powder, or further (e) an organic solvent, wherein the total of weights of the (c) and (d) is ≤100 mass% to the total of weights of the (a), (b) and (e). |
