PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pump in which an increase in motor current can be suppressed despite the fact that the structure thereof is simple.SOLUTION: An electric pump includes pump rotors 7, 8 stored in a pump body and drive parts 11, 12 for driving the pump rotors 7, 8 for discharging, from a discharge port 5, a fluid sucked from a suction port 4 provided to the pump body. The electric pump further includes a pressure receiving body 20 having a pressure receiving surface 21 which retreats by receiving a fluid pressure at the discharge port 5, and an opening 22 which is provided to the downstream side of the pressure receiving surface 21 and which opens when the pressure receiving surface 21 retreats a predetermined amount to discharge a part of the fluid to the outside. The pressure receiving surface 21 is positioned on the axis Z of the flow of the fluid at the discharge port 5, and the pressure receiving surface 21 is moved in the axis Z-direction of the flow of the fluid at the discharge port 5. |
